When connecting your utilities, if a technician needs to attend, they will most likely be familiar with the building and have done connections before. Most connections like gas and electricity, won’t require anyone to come out and can be done remotely. In case you do need to know where a particular service is controlled we’ve listed them below.
Gas
Gas meters are located at the rear of the property at 55 Nelson St.
Electricity
Electricity meters are located in the basement car park next to the bike racks on the west wall.
Hot Water
Hot water service is a shared service (gas) and user pays. You will receive a seperate bill for hot water usage for your apartment. The hot water service is located on the rooftop
NBN Fibre Upgrade
The NBN Fibre to the Premises upgrade has been completed. This means that optic fibre has been brought into the building and connected directly to each apartment. While residents can continue using their existing internet connection, they now have the option to switch to the fastest and most reliable NBN connection available.
NBN infrastructure
If you experience an issue with your NBN connection, there are three main internal connection points your technician may need to be aware of:
1. The NBN box inside your apartment.
2. A small junction box outside your apartment door.
3. The main incoming junction, located at the rear right corner of the basement (near the bike racks), next to the electrical panels.
